Now you can add Prince Fielder to the list of Tigers on the block. The team "told clubs they will listen to trade offers" for the big first baseman, the Detroit Free Press reports . It won't be easy to move Fielder given his large contract and subpar 2013. The Tigers owe the 29-year-old $168 million over the next seven seasons and realistically they would have to be willing to eat a large portion of that to trade Fielder....

THE RUMOR: The Yankees have checked in on Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki regarding a possible trade. REPORTED BY: CBS Sports baseball insider Jon Heyman THE DETAILS: While the Mets quietly discussed a Tulowitzki trade last week, the cross-town rival Yankees have checked in on Tulo about replacing recently acquired defensive specialist Didi Gregorius at shortstop. According to Heyman, Tulowitzki is said to love the idea of going to the Bronx, but the Yankees may not have enough to offer the Rockies, who are inclined to keep the veteran unless they are presented with talent they can’t refuse....

Arizona has been so successful over that stretch that it’s now 1 1/2 games out of the National League wild-card race, with the help of a Cubs loss to the Brewers. The D-backs have gone 11-1, with their most recent win Saturday 2-0 over Cincinnati, and trail only Washington and Chicago in the wild-card standings. Rookie pitcher Alex Young kept the Reds at bay as he struck out 12 in eight innings of work....

The Astros right-hander got his 200th career win as he helped Houston topped Oakland 4-1. Just two other active pitchers (CC Sabathia and Justin Verlander) have reached that mark. The Blue Jays extended their winning streak to a season-high nine games Friday after a furious comeback in the seventh inning to stun the Red Sox and hand Boston its fourth straight loss. After getting swept in Baltimore, the Red Sox opened their three-game series against the Blue Jays with a bang, scoring five runs in the first inning. Entering Friday’s game, Boston had scored 19 runs in the first inning all season, ranking second-fewest in the league....
